Mattress Appeal for Lebanon
400,000 people in Lebanon are currently displaced. For many, a car seat or the cold pavement is their only bed. Together, we can provide 500 mattresses to bring a small sense of peace to those who have lost everything.
Beyond the Headlines
When conflict reaches a city, the small comforts we take for granted are the first to disappear. In Lebanon right now, families are living in their cars or crowded into public spaces.
Exhaustion makes a crisis even harder. At Beacon Partnerships, we partner with those in their local context. Together For the Family (TFF), are a local organisation that is putting love into action in the city. The Lebanese government is appealing to humanitarian organisations and TFF has stepped forward to fulfill their role in this crisis.
A mattress isn’t just foam and fabric, it is a barrier against the cold, a support for a tired back, and a message to a displaced person that they are loved.
Together for the Family, have decided to purchase 500 mattresses with the cost of each mattress being $40. We need to raise $4000 to allow TFF to deliver them to shelters as soon as possible.
