Myanmar Earthquake Relief Fundraising Kit
Ronald (principal of our partner school, MEGST) wrote to me last week:
“We are currently preparing for our upcoming humanitarian activities in Mandalay and Sagaing. I am organising a meeting with our student group in Yangon to discuss our planning. We are to work together with our alumni network in the Mandalay region.”
Thanks to those who have donated to the Myanmar relief appeal. The situation in Myanmar is not in the news much but the need remains high. We have sent around 7000 dollars to MEGST for their partners to bring relief to those affected. We are looking to raise 100,000 dollars to cover the needs of church rebuilding and bringing everyday supplies to those affected.
We have also put together some slides as a fundraising kit you can download and use which gives a breakdown of necessities for the initial relief effort.
