Beacon Partnerships is excited to be working with Zarephath Bible Seminary (ZBS) in Pakistan to develop a Master of Theology program, a first for the country. However as with all pioneering efforts there are major challenges involved, as Dr Allan Harkness explains.
Leaders develop their theology amidst oppression
A new MTh program at ZBS in Pakistan is equipping Christian leaders to navigate the challenges of living as a minority in a Muslim-majority country in a contextually relevant way. MTh student, Amjad Masih sees it as a way to develop a theology of oppression and finding contextual solutions to the unique problems faced by Christians in Pakistan.
